Fox listener Danny Richter has nominated me for the Landon plunge. I have put some serious thought into this and think that we can do something to help out our local communities. The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a stolen 1965 IH 1206 tractor. The tractor was stolen from Red Power 11201 265th St, Mason City within the last three months. The tractor was perfectly restored to original factory specifications.
The owner is offering a $20,000.00 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the suspects.
Anyone having information regarding this crime or any other crime may call Crime Stoppers of North Central Iowa at 1-800-383-0088. All information will be kept in strict confidence and the caller need not give their name. Crime Stoppers may pay rewards of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

The tractor has been recovered and is currently at the Rice County Sheriff’s Office, where it is being kept as evidence in an investigation.

Crime Stoppers of North Central Iowa is a non-profit, all volunteer organization. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month, usually at the Mason City Chamber offices but the location can vary so check the events calendar. The public is welcome to attend, and we’re always looking for new members to join the team!
